Story of a little girl, Heidi, who lives a happy life in the mountains of Switzerland with her grandfather. She's sent off to live with a family in Frankfurt in order to attend school. The family's daughter Clara is sickly and Heidi misses her mountain home so much, she becomes pale and weak herself.
